SPCA, 2500 16th St., (415) 554-3079. Bet you didn't know it, but the SPCA has a Day Care center next to the main building. It has everything to keep your dog happy when you have to be away -- a wading pool, boxes of tennis balls, a 1,400 sq. ft. recreation room with agility equipment, soft beds for naps, and a TV for watching doggy videos. And there's more!! Dogs get two long walks each day and can be given necessary basic training. Hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Males & Females.
