Bernal Heights Park -- Located on Bernal Hill, you can enter from Bernal Heights Boulevard or from Carver Street, just past Anderson. Great trail walking. Your dog can be off-leash here but remember that stray dogs also live in the park.

McKinley Square -- Enter where San Bruno Avenue ends at 20th Street on Potrero Hill. The city has refurbished the upper area and off-leash dogs are now allowed only on the unimproved western slope. The good news is that Caltrans recently repaired the fence on the cliff that overlooks Highway 101. BEWARE! Broken glass is everywhere and foxtails are a problem in the late spring, but the view is pretty neat.

Potrero Hill Mini-Park -- Located off 22nd Street between Arkansas and Connecticut, this is an undeveloped park that is unmarked, poorly maintained, and loaded with foxtails!! Off-leash is OK.

Holly Park -- Located in Bernal Heights. This park is often windy but has a nice view of the bay and features huge, sweet-scented eucalyptus trees. Kept very clean, but dog owners can be cited if their dogs are off-leash here.
